VOLUNTEER YOUR TIME AND TALENT
There are many volunteer opportunities at Trinity Stables Horses Healing Hearts.
We take safety seriously around the barn and we run background checks on all volunteers ages 18 and older.
Minimum age to volunteer : 16 years old
VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES
- Mentor: Stable Moments - Working with a foster or adopted child w/trauma 1 hour a week. (Stable Moments video located on the "Healing Programs" page of our website.)
- Mentor: Horses Healing Hearts - Working with a child w/trauma 1 hour a week.
- Find and Write Grants
- Fundraising
- Events
- Horse Grooming
- Facility Maintenance
- Cleaning Interior Areas of Barn
- Mucking Stalls
- Gardening
- Special projects
- If you have a different area in which you would like to help or a specific skill set that may be of use, please contact us and we will find a spot for you.
Volunteering may not be traded for free riding lessons.

PROJECT OPPORTUNITIES
Are you an individual or group that would like to help us with special projects?
PROJECTS WE NEED HELP WITH:
- Build a small vegetable garden
- Build a shade shed in one of the horse pastures
- Clean up areas around the barn and stables
- Build a planter in front of the barn
- Create a sensory trail on the property
- Build a cover for the round pen
- Build a western style entrance (gate)
- Install a sign at entrance
PROJECTS COMPLETED:
- New fencing throughout property
- Installation of security system
- Renovation of Barn Entry
- Renovation of Staff lounge
- Renovation of Children's Learning Center
- Substrate added to main arena
- Stage built in lower barn
